A temporary deputy commission was created to study the activities of the Kumtor Operating Company

On February 17, at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the MPs decided to create a temporary deputy commission to study the activities of the Kumtor Operating Company.

The issue of creating a parliamentary commission for Kumtor was brought to the agenda of the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh by the leader of the parliamentary faction "Republic - Ata-Jurt" Jyrgalbek Turuskulov.

This commission should summarize and study in detail the activities of the Kumtor project. The commission should examine the issue of Kumtor's compliance with the norms and requirements for the rational use of natural resources and environmental protection.

Gosstroy submits for public discussion a draft regulation on standards for the provision of services

On February 19, the State Agency for Architecture, Construction, Housing and Communal Services under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic submitted for public discussion the draft Government Resolution "On Amendments to the Resolution "On Approval of the Standards of Public Services Rendered to Individuals and Legal Entities by State Bodies, Their Structural Subdivisions and Subordinate Institutions" dated June 3, 2014 No. 303 ".

Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh make comments to the draft Constitution

On February 17, the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, who initiated the draft Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, discussed the proposals of the Constitutional Meeting to the draft Constitution. Members of the Constitutional Council also took part in the discussion.
