LEX Law Firm invites lawyers to participate in the Chess Championship

LEX Law Firm, with the support of the Chess Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic invites you to participate in the Chess Championship among lawyers.

The championship will be held on May 22, 2021. We believe that the event will serve as an excellent platform for informal communication with colleagues, exchange of experience, as well as for finding common interests.

Venue: 70 Ibraimov Str., “Evropa” (Europa) Hotel, “Congress” hall.

Participant registration: 09:30 a.m. -10:00 a.m.

Start of the tournament at 10:00 a.m.

Arbitration of event

Arbitration of event will be implemented by the panel of judges composed of the Chief Arbiter of the Chess Federation and his two deputies.

Chess tournament system

The tournament is held under the FIDE rules for rapid chess.

Tournament will be held according to the Swiss system in 7 rounds with the use of a computer pairing Swiss manager. Time limit - 10 minutes for each participant to the end of the game with an addition of 5 seconds for each move made, starting with the first.

Determination of the winners

Winners are determined by the highest number of points scored in all games. In the case of identical scores between two or more participants, the winners are determined by the following criteria:

1) Buchholz Cut 1;

2) Buchholz Cut 2;

З) Direct encounter;

4) Number of wins.

To participate in the tournament, you must fill out an application and send it to office@lex.kg. until May 15, 2021.

Tournament participation is free of charge.
