Seoul learned about the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan

The Kyrgyz-Korean business forum dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Korea was held in Seoul.

The event was attended by leading Kyrgyz and Korean companies, as well as representatives of government agencies. Almaz Isanov, Head of the Political and Economic Research Department of the Presidential Administration, presented the investment climate and opportunities in Kyrgyzstan.

Director of the Tourism Support and Development Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic Elena Kalashnikova (Chair of the IBC Tourism Committee) reported on the tourism potential of the country, and a video was shown about the tourism opportunities of Kyrgyzstan.

As a result of the forum, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Tourism Support and Development Fund and the leading tour operator of Korea, Hana Tour.

The forum participants also considered such promising areas of Kyrgyz-Korean cooperation as digitalization, agriculture, textile industry, mining, energy, transport, green economy, construction, and education.
