ABC members consider the Draft State Anti-Corruption Strategy

The meeting of the Anti-Corruption Business Council under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic was held on October 26, 2022 under the chairmanship of ABC Secretary General Nuruypa Mukanova.

The meeting participants discussed the draft State Anti-Corruption Strategy for 2022-2024, the strategic action plan, as well as the activities of the ABC Secretariat.

Executive Director of the International Business Council Askar Sydykov is the ABC Council member. At the meeting, he made proposals on the procedural aspects of the consideration of the documents included in the agenda.

The composition of the Anti-Corruption Business Council was approved on October 25, 2021 by the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. Earlier, following the meeting of President Sadyr Japarov with the business community on June 23, 2021, the Anti-Corruption Business Council under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic was formed by decree of the head of state on July 8, 2021.

The main goal of the Anti-Corruption Business Council is to improve the main directions of the state policy in the field of combating corruption and ensuring an effective dialogue between public authorities and civil society on combating corruption, as well as creating favorable conditions for business development, improving the investment climate and mechanisms for protecting and supporting activities of business entities.
