Parliament invites business to participate in capacity building of deputies

The Center for Parliament and Democracy Development under the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic invites the business community to participate in capacity building of deputies and employees of the Jogorku Kenesh Administration.

“The Center offered us to find consultants from among the companies that are members of our association to help increase the potential of deputies. We proposed to organize visits to enterprises so that the deputies have a better understanding of how production, the service sector and other types of business work,” said Askar Sydykov, Executive Director of the International Business Council.

IBC members are the largest companies operating in various sectors of the country's economy, including the mining and banking sectors, the food industry, telecommunications, construction, tourism, logistics, consulting and other areas.

The Center for Parliament and Democracy Development is currently running a series of training events on various topics. Given the importance and relevance of digitalization at the state level, a two-day seminar “Digital Skills and Digital Transformation Management” was recently held for the staff of the Jogorku Kenesh Office The event was organized with the assistance of the Ministry of Digital Development, Digital CASA and the University of Central Asia.

The Center for Parliament and Democracy Development under the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic was established in September 2022 to improve cooperation with civil society.
