IBC held an informal meeting in the IBC Meetup format

On November 2, 2023, the International Business Council held an informal meeting of business association members in the IBC Meetup format.

“In our work routine, we often don’t have enough time for business meetings with old and new partners, colleagues and friends. Although sometimes 5-10 minutes are enough to talk and resolve issues and plan events. It is for such purposes that we hold informal IBC Meetups, where in a relaxed atmosphere and in a short time, businesses and other business partners discuss mutual issues and more,” said IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov welcoming the participants.

For each such meeting, we choose an interesting, common and at the same time abstract topic, and also introduce new members of the association, after which it is time for informal interaction between IBC members.

Previous IBC Meetup topics covered education, ESG, digital innovation in the financial sector, and others.

Currently, the IBC includes more than a hundred organizations, which account for over 20 percent of tax revenues in Kyrgyzstan. Every year, new companies from a wide variety of industries and sub-sectors of the economy join the association.

“This means that in our country there is growing interest in business associations, and companies and entrepreneurs are becoming more active, socially responsible and want to contribute to the economy. We, for our part, will try to continue to support businesses and help implement their ideas,” the IBC head said.

Then Daniyar Mederov, Chairman of the IBC Board, presented the companies — new IBC members with certificates of membership in the organization. We are pleased to introduce new IBC members:

Representative office of the IPChain Association (National Coordination Center for Processing Transactions with Rights and Objects of Intellectual Property). The task of the Representative Office is to create a national IPChain network in Kyrgyzstan;

TRADEGOF LLC is a large distribution company with more than 20 years of experience in the market of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Dos-Kredobank OJSC has been successfully operating in the banking services market of Kyrgyzstan for more than 25 years. It is the first bank in Central Asia to sign the Green Investment Principles for the Belt and Road Initiative;

BGlobal LLC conducts innovative business tours around the world for entrepreneurs, business owners and company executives from the Kyrgyz Republic and other Central Asian countries;

ABL Dissaco Central Asia LLC is one of the world leaders in the field of project logistics for freight transportation of large machinery and equipment;

BureauOffice Bishkek LLC is the official representative of the Burotime global brand, a manufacturer of designer office furniture.

After the official part, it was time for informal communication in the @191 lounge bar at the Hyatt Regency Bishkek with a tasting of fine Italian and French wines and information from the sommelier. The ceremony was accompanied by a slide show and classical music by the Manas Presidential Chamber Orchestra Quartet.
