IBC Brings Together Kyrgyzstan's Business Community at IBC Summer Fest 2026

The festival became one of the country's largest platforms for informal dialogue between business, government, and international partners. Participants discussed prospects for the development of entrepreneurship, the digital economy, financial technologies, and new forms of business cooperation. Speaking at the opening of the event, IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov noted that in a rapidly changing economy, platforms that allow entrepreneurs and top executives to exchange ideas, find new partners, and build joint projects have taken on special value. He emphasized that the new IBC Summer Fest format reflects the IBC's commitment to creating additional opportunities for professional networking, developing business ties, and strengthening partnerships within the business community. This year, the festival was held for the first time as a large-scale summer open-air event, with an atmosphere reminiscent of European fairs and a Mediterranean-style celebration. Organizers arranged themed networking zones, master classes, interactive activities, sports and creative activities, a concert program, prize drawings, and special activities from event partners for attendees. Particular attention was paid to creating a comfortable, informal atmosphere for participants to connect with one another. The festival served as a platform for new connections, the exchange of ideas, discussion of joint projects, and the development of cooperation among representatives of various economic sectors. Visa, the global leader in digital payments, served as the event's general partner. The company supports the development of digital commerce, entrepreneurship, innovation, artificial intelligence technologies, and modern payment security solutions. The International Business Council remains Kyrgyzstan's largest international business association, uniting more than 160 leading companies in the country and over 100 partners representing government bodies, international organizations, public associations, and diplomatic missions. The association works consistently to improve the investment climate, strengthen legislation, and develop conditions for sustainable economic growth. According to the association's estimates, the annual positive economic effect of the IBC's activities exceeds USD 50 million, reaching more than USD 100 million in certain years. As part of the event, a ceremony was held to award certificates to new IBC members. Companies representing a range of economic sectors joined the association, confirming the growing interest of businesses in participating in the work of business associations. Festival participants noted that the development of modern technology and entrepreneurship requires not only investment and regulation, but also strong professional communities capable of bringing together ideas, people, and resources to implement new projects. The IBC will continue creating conditions for constructive dialogue, promoting modern technologies, strengthening business ties, and building sustainable partnerships that contribute to the long-term economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic.
