Eurasian Economic Union: Customs Code, trade and investments

Heads of the Eurasian Economic Union member states signed the EEU Customs Code at the summit of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on December 26 in St. Petersburg. The new Customs Code will enter into force from July 1, 2017.

Overall, the level of support exceeds 60%, according to the findings of the EDB Integration Barometer, a yearly research conducted by Eurasian Development Bank's (EDB) Centre for Integration Studies. In 2016, 8,500 people from seven CIS countries – Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, and Tajikistan – took part in the survey.
Untapped potential of Kyrgyzstan’s tourism industry

According to international experts, Kyrgyzstan currently uses less than 15 percent of its tourist potential. Further development of tourism requires urgent solution of many issues at the state and interstate levels, IBC Executive Director said at the recent roundtable to discuss problems and prospects of the tourism industry in Kyrgyzstan.
