Opening of the VICT International Platform — Verified Investment Corridor & Trade

On 14 September, the international VICT 2026 — Verified Investment Corridor & Trade conference was held in Bishkek. The event focused on developing trade and investment cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China, as well as expanding business ties with the markets of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Organizers: Dordoi Insurance CJSC and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic

Chinese Side: China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (CASME)

Partner: International Business Council

The International Business Council served as a partner of the event. In our welcoming remarks, we emphasized that sustainable growth in mutual trade requires not only new business contacts, but also reliable infrastructure for concluding and executing transactions.

Trade finance instruments, bank guarantees, letters of credit, insurance, and other mechanisms for mitigating commercial risks are particularly important in this regard. They help protect payments and deliveries, strengthen trust between business partners, and provide companies with greater opportunities to enter new markets.

The VICT platform is designed to provide practical support to businesses by facilitating the search for and preliminary verification of partners, project structuring, access to financing and insurance protection, as well as support for joint initiatives through to the implementation stage.

The conference featured thematic discussions and B2B meetings involving representatives of government agencies, the financial sector, logistics companies, investors, and entrepreneurs from both countries. An IBC representative also took part in the session “Investment and Localization: What Businesses on Both Sides Need” and responded to questions from the Chinese side regarding doing business and implementing joint projects in Kyrgyzstan.

IBC will continue to support initiatives that help companies from Kyrgyzstan and China identify reliable partners and turn business contacts into concrete, secure, and mutually beneficial projects.
