Parliament Committee will consider the implementation of recommendations from the roundtable on subsoil use

On January 22, the Parliament Committee on the fuel and energy complex and subsoil use will consider the issue “On approval of the Action Plan for the implementation of recommendations based on the results of the roundtable “Main Challenges of Mining Industry's Regulatory Framework and Its Application in Kyrgyzstan”.

The roundtable was held on November 27, 2018 at the initiative of the Parliament Committee on Fuel, Energy Complex and Subsoil Use and IBC with the participation of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The roundtable participants considered the conditions necessary to attract investors, the expediency of raising the tax rates on income for gold mining companies, as well as relationships with local communities.

The adopted resolution is aimed at improving conditions for the activities of mining companies and the sustainable development of the industry. More:
