E-Commerce Park to be created in Kyrgyzstan

e business community will develop a feasibility study for an E-Commerce Park in Kyrgyzstan.

This decision was made at a meeting of First Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Daniyar Imanaliev with Vice President of the Electronic Commerce Association Aibek Kurenkeev and Country Manager of the USAID Entrepreneurship and Business Environment Development Project Nuradil Raimbekov, the press service of the Ministry of Economy and Finance reported.

The meeting participants discussed issues of cooperation in the field of e-commerce, including those related to the creation of the E-Commerce Park in Kyrgyzstan. The USAID project has expressed its willingness to support initiatives aimed at developing the e-commerce ecosystem.

E-commerce now is a strategic direction for the development of the digital economy around the world and requires technological, legislative and infrastructural preparation.

The E-Commerce Park can become a center of innovation and knowledge and create a communication space for transnational companies focused on the Central Asia countries, the ministry noted earlier.

The project aims to stimulate the growth of a diverse economy, e-commerce in Kyrgyzstan, creating conditions for entering world markets.
