Acceleration participants presented their business projects to the Investment Committee in the fight for investments up to $50,000. Zhanabil Davletbaev, IBC Deputy Executive Director, was a member of this committee.
Preparations for the Demo Day lasted two months and included an intensive training and business skills development program. 216 applications from all over Kyrgyzstan were submitted for acceleration, of which 28 participants were selected for the program, who studied in a mixed (online and offline) format.
A personal business tracker worked with each of the participants, who diagnosed their business and helped determine the direction of further development.
The most promising companies that showed good growth were recommended for investment after passing due diligence: 78 Cafe Hotel, Explor KG and Green Kegeti.
Accelerate Prosperity, in collaboration with the Local Transformation Project, is conducting intensive acceleration for tourism companies that have been selected based on applications with a focus on adventure tourism, HORECA with unique tourism products, handicraft workshops, tourism related to recovery and health, and so on.
