Kompanion Bank invites to the 11th Apple Festival

Kompanion Bank CJSC will hold the 11th annual Apple festival, which will take place on September 24 of 2016 in Kyzyl-Bulak village of Kadamjay district of Batken oblast.

Not only the farmers from Kyrgyzstan will take part in the festival, but also the gardeners from France will, who will share their experience in growing and processing apple.

The main goal of the event – contribution to the development of horticulture and building market contacts between buyers and sellers to build capacity of communities of Kyrgyzstan.

Within the frames of the event, the participants will be able to sell their products, discuss the current issues of horticulture and get free consultations from the Kompanion Bank specialists on agronomy and veterinary. The event also will be full of interesting competitions for children and adults, and also there will be tasting of apples and creatively different apple foods, which is the traditional and the most delicious part of the festival. The guests and participants of the festival will be able to display gardens and storage facilities of apples.

We held the Apple festival in 2006 for the first time. The interest of the local farmers in this platform was the reason to make this festival good tradition. “Last year our event helped the gardeners from Nookat district to sell 15 tons of apples, and this year we have raised the limit for 2 thousand more tons” – noted the Chief Executive Officer of Kompanion Bank CJSC Ulanbek Termechikov.

The Apple festival is organized in cooperation with the administration of Kadamjay district. About 600 participants and more than 2000 visitors are expected. The program of the festival can be found on the Bank’s website www.kompanion.kg.
