A launching ceremony of the new product line of the Bishkeksut JSC took place on November 29. Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov took part in the event.

In the 90s, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, companies faced problems, and many suspended production, but Bishkeksut managed to come out of a difficult situation and continued operating, Jeenbekov said.

Introduction of the new line will increase production and expand the product range. Bishkeksut, one of the largest taxpayers in the country, exports about 20 thousand tons of milk annually, thus contributing to the development of the national economy. The enterprise provides the local population with stable work.

It is encouraging that Bishkeksut uses local raw products and supplies not only the domestic market with its dairy products but also exports them, the Prime Minister added.

Sooronbai Jeenbekov thanked the PepsiCo Company for cooperation and investments in Bishkeksut that contributes to the competitiveness of the enterprise.

Bishkeksut General Director Margarita Rumyantseva provided information on the activities of the enterprise and demonstrated its products.

PepsiCo Vice-president on corporate relations in Russia and Eastern Europe, Sergey Glushkov, took part in the ceremony of launching the new product line.
