Organizations and individual entrepreneurs from January 1, 2021 will switch to the mandatory submission of tax returns in the form of an electronic document signed with a qualified electronic signature.

According to the press service of the State Tax Service, this deadline has been established in accordance with the "Procedure and terms for the transition to the submission of tax reporting in the form of an electronic document", approved by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on December 12, 2018.

The State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic urges taxpayers who are obliged to submit tax reports in electronic form to acquire a qualified electronic signature in advance.

An electronic signature can be purchased from Specialized Operators, which have been accredited by an authorized state body in the field of electronic government.

In accordance with the deadlines approved by the above resolution, tax reporting in electronic form using electronic signatures has been submitted by VAT payers, importers and exporters of goods from July 1, 2019.

The transfer of taxpayers to electronic format is one of the main components of the fiscalization of tax procedures "SMART Salym" in the framework of providing online tax services and creating favorable conditions for entrepreneurs.
