Business Alley, a symbol of a new dialogue between the state and entrepreneurship in Kyrgyzstan

On April 7, 2021, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Maripov, together with representatives of business and IT companies, planted trees in a park in Bishkek.

The event was organized by the Government Office in support of entrepreneurship in the country.

“Without the support of the business sector, the development of the domestic economy is out of the question. That is why the Government is making every effort to restore economic activity by taking additional measures to support business,” Maripov said.

IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov thanked the Prime Minister for the initiative of joint tree planting.

“Meetings of the business community with the country's top leadership in an informal setting provide a special impetus for the development of public-private dialogue and joint actions to improve the investment climate,”[/b] said the IBC head. “We hope that the Business Alley planted today will grow, strengthen and prosper along with the country’s economy”.

The Prime Minister said that one of the Government's priorities is the issue of ensuring guarantees of state protection of the rights and legitimate interests of entrepreneurs and investors.

“We are developing systemic measures of economic and financial support for enterprises, rehabilitation of the financial system and support for small and medium-sized businesses,” he added.

The planted seedlings will become a symbol of the beginning of a new dialogue with business.

“This day symbolizes for us a new stage of cooperation between the state and the business sector,” concluded Maripov.
