On July 1, 2022, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov signed the Decree “On Improving the Status and Image of Entrepreneurs of the Kyrgyz Republic”.

On the basis of the Decree, the title "Honored Entrepreneur of the Kyrgyz Republic" is introduced.

“Now, our conscientious entrepreneurs who have contributed to the economy and have this title will be entitled to receive a service passport of the Kyrgyz Republic and will be able to pass at airports for free through official delegations, business lounges and VIP lounges. Honored entrepreneurs will be included in the state and official delegations during the visits of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic abroad,” Sadyr Japarov said at a meeting dedicated to the Day of Tax Worker of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the President, there are more than 700,000 taxpayers in the country, of which about 3,000 entrepreneurs pay 80% of the total amount of taxes received by the state budget. These entrepreneurs also provide jobs for citizens.
