State Investment Management Statement approved

On June 3, 2019, the Regulation on public investment management was approved. The relevant Regulation of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic was signed by the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Muhammedkaliy Abylgaziyev.

This document was adopted to improve the efficiency and improve the process of preparing, implementing and monitoring public investment projects (PIP).

The said Provision is a single agreed system for initiating, evaluating, selecting, approving and implementing public investment projects for executive agencies, authorized bodies and interested parties.

The state investment management clause closes the regulatory gap in the public investment management process and complements the regulation contained in financing agreements concluded between the Kyrgyz Republic and development partners.

It should be noted that external assistance is one of the key factors for the development of the Kyrgyz Republic.

External financial assistance is directed to the implementation of projects in various sectors of the economy, including education, healthcare, and transport.

The Ministry of Economy submits for public discussion the draft regulatory legal act

From June 3, 2019, the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic submits for public discussion a draft Regulation of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic “On the establishment of the state institution, Center for Serving Entrepreneurs in the Kyrgyz Republic, under the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.”

The draft Government Regulation was developed to create the Entrepreneurship Service Center, which will simplify the procedures for obtaining public services and issuing licenses and permits, reduce deadlines for their receipt, to provide and provide quality, timely and affordable services to entrepreneurs, invoke the competencies and skills of entrepreneurs through training, eliminate corruption mechanisms.

Medium-term forecast of socio-economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2020-2022 was approved

On June 6, 2019, the Medium-Term Forecast of Socio-Economic Development of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2020-2022 was approved. The relevant Regulation of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic was signed by the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Muhammedkaliy Abylgaziyev.

Medium-term forecast of the socio-economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2020-2022” was developed in order to determine the quantitative benchmarks and parameters of macroeconomic development for the medium term.

The medium-term forecast is calculated on the basis of an analysis of economic trends in 2018, an assessment of expected indicators in 2019, and takes into account the factors / risks of the current actual situation.

The Medium-Term Forecast identifies the main directions of development of key sectors of the economy for 2020, including a detailed description of their forecast values, and prospects for the development of the country's economy in 2021-2022, built on the basis of official forecasts of sectoral ministries, state committees, administrative departments and regions.

The Medium-Term Forecast of the Socio-Economic Development of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2020–2022 is the basis for the development of the draft Guidelines for the Fiscal Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2020–2022.

The main objective of economic policy for the medium term will be to ensure macroeconomic stability and the achievement of positive development trends.
