How to provide favorable conditions for attracting new investments in the subsoil use of Kyrgyzstan?

This and other issues were discussed by Minister of Energy and Industry of Kyrgyzstan Kubanychbek Turdubaev and Chinese Ambassador Du Dewen.

The parties considered cooperation prospects in the electric power and industrial sectors, including the possibility of an early launch and bringing to the design capacity of the Junda oil refinery in Kara-Balta, as well as simplification of the procedure for passing equipment from China for the rehabilitation of Toktogul and Uch-Kurgan hydroelectric power plants, the ministry’s press service reported.

The PRC is the main partner of Kyrgyzstan in trade and economic relations. In 2019, trade between Kyrgyzstan and China reached $2 billion. However, due to the outbreak of the pandemic, the indicator dropped significantly.

Kyrgyz-Chinese relations always tend to dynamic development, Ambassador Du Dewen said.
