Regulatory reform to improve business environment in Kyrgyzstan

IBC took part in the second meeting of the Regulatory Reform Council. Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Temir Sariyev, Council Chairman, said that the reforms are aimed at improving the country's competitiveness and business environment through the reduction of government regulation of business. Economy Minister Oleg Pankratov told about the implementation of the state bodies’ action plan for regulatory reform. Results of the first phase of the regulatory reform "System Analysis of Regulation" (SAR) were presented. The regulatory reform is implemented by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic together with the OSCE Centre in Bishkek. The meeting also considered and approved the list of promising reforms to achieve quick results.
