Representatives of IBC and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) discussed issues such as strengthening the governance of industrial development, establishing the required quality infrastructure, increasing revenues and jobs, particularly through adding value to both local and export markets, and developing renewable sources of energy. Established in January 2009, the UNIDO in Kyrgyzstan aims to be a strong partner for the Kyrgyz Government in its efforts to enhance the competitiveness of Kyrgyz industry and its integration into the global market.
