The first meeting of the newly established IBC Construction Committee was attended by representatives of IBC member companies – Kumtor Gold Company, Grundfos, Alpha Telecom, the ADB, Commercial Bank "Kyrgyzstan", Kant Pipes and Slate Plant, Bristol construction company, and Lex, Grata, Colibri and Arte law firms, as well as USAID Business Growth Initiative (BGI) Project team members. The meeting discussed issues related to the election of the Committee Chairman and the current situation in the construction sector. Committee members shared the issues they face in their work and pointed out their expectations of the Committee’s activity. Electing the Committee’s chairman is scheduled for its next meeting.
