The lack of information about the availability of generation capacity in Bishkek and the lack of transparency in activities of the energy distribution companies impede business development. A roundtable on the theme: "Interactive map of electrical power as a tool for power distribution transparency" was held in Bishkek.

Chairman of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use Duyshenbek Zilaliev, representatives of the National Energy Holding and business community, including IBC attended the event.

Business associations suggested creating legal tools to ensure the efficient management of energy capacities and transparency in allocation of generated energy among users of all levels in the form of electronic map of Bishkek.

Zilaliev supported the initiative and suggested creating a working group to develop an online energy capacity map. The WG including representatives of government agencies and business associations should develop specifications for the interactive map within a month.
