IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov visited one of the largest enterprises of Kyrgyzstan, the Bozymchak Mining and Processing Enterprise located at the Bozymchak copper and gold deposit in Ala-Bukinsky district of Jalal-Abad province.

General Director of KAZ Minerals Bozymchak Ilyas Tulekeev and company employees acquainted Sydykov with various production facilities including the mining and processing enterprise, administrative building, tailing pond, storage facilities, and cargo station at Shamaldy-Say village.

“We have invested over $350 million over the past several years and we have plans for further development”, Tulekeev said.

"These kinds of trips are very important to see personally how the enterprise is developing the mine and region as a whole. This helps IBC better understand how to effectively develop the investment climate in the country," Sydykov said adding that a dazzling white snow near the concentrator, where ore is crushed, testifies the company's concern for environmental protection.
