Since June 14, a draft law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Public Procurement" has been submitted for public discussion. The initiator is Makhabat Mavlyanova, the Jogorku Kenesh deputy.

The Law "On Public Procurement" provides for procurement procedures that require a long time. This affects the organization of high-quality nutrition for social institutions including schools, boarding schools, nursing homes, etc. Adoption of this bill will enable social institutions, regardless of departmental affiliation, to purchase goods, works and services without holding a tender.
