At the initiative of the General Prosecutor's Office, a meeting was held today with representatives of the International Business Council.

Gulnara Akimbaeva, head of the Combating Corruption and Supervision of Law Enforcement Department of the General Prosecutor's Office, Zalkar Aknazarov, Deputy Head of the Department, Ramazan Ibraimov, Department Prosecutor, and other responsible officials of the state supervisory body answered the questions from entrepreneurs.

Before the meeting, IBC sent to the Prosecutor General’s Office a detailed list of the most significant issues related to inspections by law enforcement, regulatory and fiscal bodies submitted by the IBC members.

Employees of the Prosecutor General’s Office carefully prepared for the meeting.

“Experts gave clear explanations to the business community’s questions regarding acts or omissions of the auditing or fiscal authorities,” said IBC Deputy Executive Director Daniyar Mederov, the meeting moderator.

It was impossible to answer all the questions during the meeting, and the supervisory authority staff promised to provide detailed answers on each issue from the IBC list.

The participants agreed to continue the practice of holding such meetings, mutually beneficial to both the business and the state body.

“Business will more effectively monitor the response to its problems, and the General Prosecutor’s Office will be able to improve the supervision of law enforcement and fiscal authorities through the interaction with the business community,” Mederov concluded.
