During the past week, IBC Executive Director Temirbek Azhykulov held several informational meetings with the IBC member companies. The meetings addressed general issues of further cooperation in the framework of the IBC, as well as issues directly related to the activities of the companies.

- IBC and Chairperson of the Jubilee insurance company Valeria Khegai considered the possibility of holding joint meetings with IBC on financial literacy, business breakfasts on insurance, and seminars on issues insurance of banks and hotels. The issues of savings insurance, calculation of reserves, risk insurance and taxation were also discussed.

- IBC and Gulnara Kalikova, Founder and Senior Partner of the Kalikova & Associates Law Firm, discussed issues related to fostering the current and prospective initiatives on investment climate and business environment improvement in Kyrgyzstan.

- IBC and Representative / Country Director of the UN World Food Programme (WFP) Ram Saravanamuttu and Communications Officer Elizabeth Zalkind discussed the projects carried out by the WFP to improve primary school meals, food security, capacity building and others. The meeting also discussed the possibility of participation of the private sector in the WFP activities.

- IBC and Managing Partner of the LEX law firm Vitaly Yen discussed the prospects for using IBC as a platform for the development of communication between representatives of the business community of Kyrgyzstan.
