Law, developed with the assistance of IBC member company, came into force

On June 5, 2015, the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On amendments to certain legislative acts of the Kyrgyz Republic (regarding simplification of registration and liquidation procedures of business entities and individuals) came into force. The law was adopted by Jogorku Kenesh on April 23, 2015 and signed by President of the Kyrgyz Republic on May 22, 2015.

IBC member, Kalikova & Associates law firm, provided expert assistance to members of Jogorku Kenesh in drafting this law which introduces simplified procedures for liquidation of legal entities by removing overlapping provisions, eliminating baseless and unnecessary barriers created by public authorities, reducing the period of review of documents by public authorities and lowering administrative pressure. The law also proposes simplified and optimized procedures for registration of individual entrepreneurs by transferring the registration functions from statistics to tax authorities.
