IBC participated in the First International Seminar on Insurance of Engineering Risks, organized by Insurance Company "Kyrgyzstan” JSC. The seminar was devoted to the examination, evaluation and underwriting of risks in hydropower sector and mining. General Director of Insurance Company "Kyrgyzstan" Maria Adenova welcomed the participants. Prominent international consultants in insurance and finance Dr. Hans Mahrla (General Secretary of the International Association of Engineering Insurers (IMIA) and head of the Swiss Reinsurance Company) and Utz Groetschel (head of the Munich Reinsurance Company and former IMIA General Secretary) familiarized the participants with the experience of the international insurance market in the area of engineering risks and underwriting.
