The IBC office hosted a meeting of communication operators to discuss issues related to simplification of procedures to install small communication facilities. Excessive requirements of the authorized state bodies during preparation of permits to construct communication facilities pose a significant barrier to the development of communication networks. This hinders the implementation of socially important challenges to develop new technologies and competition in the market. IBC has sent an appeal to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic with a request to exclude the installation of communication facilities from the control of the above mentioned law.
