On May 18 Kumtor Gold Company reported that at Centerra Gold’s annual meeting of shareholders held May 17, 2016 in Toronto, Canada, Centerra’s independent shareholders (non-Kyrgyzaltyn) overwhelmingly supported and voted in favor of electing all incumbent directors to the board of Centerra.

On average, over 98% of the votes cast by independent (non-Kyrgyzaltyn) shareholders were in favour of the board nominees’ election.

Director of the company - a member of the International Business Council (IBC) - a branch of the mining company Robust Resourses Limited in Bishkek, Eduard Kubatov, joined the Board of Directors of Centerra.

Robust Resourses Limited is an IBC active member. In 2013, Eduard Kubatov was a Board Member of the International Business Council.

IBC would like to congratulate Mr. Kubatov on his election to the Board of Directors of Centerra and wishes him fruitful activity for the benefit of Kyrgyzstan.

Kyrgyzaltyn JSC withheld its votes from the election of all director nominees other than Kubatov, Kyshtobaev and Sagynov.
