IBC has submitted the first package of its proposals on the draft Tax Code of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Economy Ministry. Currently, IBC is completing its work on the second package of comments and suggestions to the bill, IBC Deputy Executive Director Daniyar Mederov said today at a roundtable organized by the BizExpert Analytical Center to discuss the new version of the Tax Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

To study in detail the draft of the new Tax Code and make constructive comments, it will take longer time than provided for by legislation. At different levels of the discussions, IBC has repeatedly suggested to extend the public discussion of the bill up to six months.

It is important that the new Tax Code of the Kyrgyz Republic should take into account the interests of both the state and business to create a positive impact on business development and execution of the state budget, the IBC representative said.
