Deputy Chairman of State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use Aziz Saparaliyev, representatives Kaz Minerals Bozymchak and Altynken LLC, as well as members of village councils took part in the discussions.

Sydykov spoke about positive changes in the industry including the stabilization regime for investors, regular work of the licensing commission. However, few investors are coming into the industry due to the unpredictability of local legislation, he said. Social investments are also necessary to develop sustainable projects, which would provide the local population with jobs.
